The final will be held at the end of July/beginning of August and the date and place will be notified to the finalists. This is to give the competition a chance of holding the final in the same year as the competition by having several possible weekends to hold it over. Also this will hopefully avoid clashes with other national/local competitions held around this time.
The final tasks will be set from the cross country list only eg. open distance, out and return or race to goal. At the final, all team captains must know the deadline for the report in procedure with scores to allow the calculation of the winners, so that prizes can be awarded. |
